Free online workshop: Dealing with stress mindfully

  • 7 September from 19.30 to 20.45 CET, Online via zoom

To experience stress is to be human. We can’t avoid stress and challenges altogether. Besides, positive stress is something that drives us toward our goals. But what if stress and anxiety take over your life? What if you constantly feel overwhelmed, and even the slightest stress takes you off balance?

Do you want to discover ways how to deal with stress more skillfully? Do you want to reclaim your peace and calm? Do you want to reduce mental or bodily pain and suffering?

In this introductory workshop for beginners, you will discover how to respond adequately to stress and suffering and to be more in the present moment. There will be a mix of teaching, practising and sharing, just like in our 8-week mindfulness courses, so that you can have a first impression.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn why stress affects your body and mind
  • Discover how mindfulness can reduce stress and suffering
  • Practice mindfulness techniques to experience to help you deal with stress skilfully
  • Discover how you can use mindfulness daily to feel at ease

The popular name for the full catastrophe nowadays is stress. […] We all have our own version of it.

Jon Kabat-Zinn

The workshop will be in English. It will be an interactive workshop in which you will learn more about how stress works, its effects, and how mindfulness can help you deal better with it.

We will be doing some practical exercises and meditations that will teach you a new way to better deal with daily life’s hustle and bustle and take good care of yourself in these challenging times. You will take away insights and some techniques that you can start using from day one.

The workshop also explains the features of our upcoming 8-week online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course with Lyuba, starting on Wednesday, 14 September. You will be able to ask questions and share your experiences – or you can just listen, which is perfectly fine. You are welcome as you are!

You will receive the zoom link to the online meeting shortly before the start of the workshop.
